Privacy Policy

This is the personal family website of Paul Jevins at jevins.com. It is a family journal and photo archive, not a business. I don’t sell anything and I don’t run any advertising.

What I collect

The contact form. If you send me a message, I receive the name, email address and message you type in. The site may also record technical details that come with the message, such as your IP address and browser type.

That is all. I don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this site.

How I use it

Only to read your message, reply to you and keep a record of our contact. I don’t sell, rent or share it, and I don’t add anyone to a mailing list.

Who can see it

Only me. The site is hosted by names.co.uk, so messages are stored on their servers, and they handle that data on my behalf. I would only pass it on if the law required me to.

How long I keep it

For as long as it is useful for keeping in touch. If you would like me to delete your message or your details, just ask.

Cookies

Visitors are not asked to accept cookies. The site sets a small number of cookies only for people who log in, to keep them signed in.

Accounts for family members

Accounts are by invitation only. If I invite a family member to post, I will store their name, email address, username and an encrypted password, along with anything they post. They can ask me to remove their account and their posts at any time.

Photos and stories about people

This site shares family photos and stories. If you appear in something and would like it changed or taken down, tell me and I will deal with it promptly.

Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it.

Changes to this page

If I add anything to the site that collects more information, such as public comments, I will update this page first. The date below shows when it was last changed.
